BioSB 2026 is the 12th edition of the BioSB conference series. These annual conferences are an important part of BioSB's agenda. BioSB is the national community for bioinformatics and systems biology research in the Netherlands. BioSB brings together researchers, teachers, and industrial partners to accelerate scientific innovation and collaboration and to offer postdoctoral training.

Abstracts submission deadlines:

• Oral presentations: 13th of February
• Notification date oral presentations: 13 March
• Poster presentations: 10th of April
• Demo presentations: 10th of April

Young Investigator Award:

• Deadline BioSB Young Investigator Award (YIA): 6th of March
• Notification to the nominee of the YIA 2026: 27th of March

Overnight Stays

De Berckt offers simple (but clean and practical) accommodation at a very reasonable price.  To keep costs accessible for everyone and foster the collaborative spirit of BioSB, we encourage participants to book shared rooms (3-4 per room, often with bunk beds).

Single rooms are only available to a limited extent. 

Announcing vacancies at BioSB2026?

Please bring printouts / leaflets of your vacancies to announce them at BioSB. Ask at the registration desk where you can hang them.

Wednesday 13 May, you can get a fresh start at 7am by taking part in the traditional BioSB morning run led by Peter-Bram 't Hoen!
