Abstract submission

You can submit an abstract for: 

• Oral     (during one of the parallel sessions)
• Poster (presented during poster sessions)
• Demo / Application showcase (plenary pitch + demo table during poster sessions)

Submission deadlines

• Oral presentations:                           13 February 2026, 23:59 
• Notification date oral presentations:   13 March 2026
• Poster presentations:                        10th of April 2026
• Demo presentations:                        10th of April 2026

Abstracts will be reviewed by the Programme committee. You will receive the notification by e-mail.

Poster presentations

Poster display

Posters will be displayed during both conference days. 

Preparations

Please prepare your poster in A0 portrait format: height: 1189 mm (46.81 inches) and width: 841 mm (33.11 inches).

Set-up and pick-up 

Poster setup: Tuesday 12 May, before 10:00 

Poster pickup: Wednesday 13 May, 17:00h.  

Best Poster prize

The best poster prize will be awarded to the Best Poster of the conference! Be aware of good questions from the Poster prize jury!

Submission procedure

Submit your abstract via EasyChair (link below). If you don't have an account, you'll be prompted to create one on your first visit.
Deadline for oral presentations and demos: February 13, 2026, 23:59
After February 13, 2026: Only poster/demo submissions will be accepted
Please note: All authors are automatically added as corresponding authors to ensure good communication. You can uncheck individual authors if they prefer not to receive BioSB 2026 updates via email.

Abstract preparation

Please prepare a 1-page abstract in PDF. The format should be:

• A4 paper;
• use Times Roman (10pt); 
• two columns separated by 0.5 cm whitespace with margins of 2 cm;
• Please specify a title, the authors and their affiliations and e-mail addresses; underline the presenting author!
